Why I Started Momkind Collective

This was born out of my own recent struggles to balance it all—being a parent, wife, friend, professional. Somewhere along the way, I felt like I had lost myself a bit. A hobby? What’s that? Free time? Ha, not really. I’ve never been great at reaching out or staying connected, even though I always have the best intentions. Not long ago, I started a moms’ happy hour with a few of soccer mom friends, and I realized something important: we all need community, an outlet, a little adult time. The truth is, most of us are just really bad at scheduling it and making it happen.

Motherhood can feel isolating—even when you’re surrounded by people. Between careers, practices, school drop-offs, and endless laundry, it’s easy to lose yourself in the shuffle. The truth is, we weren’t meant to do this alone. We need community. We need to feel seen. And we need spaces where we can be honest about both the beautiful and the hard parts of this season.

That’s why I started Momkind Collective.

This space was born out of my own need for connection and creativity, but also out of a bigger dream: to bring women together in a way that feels supportive, real, and empowering. It’s a place where modern moms can show up as their full selves—not just “mom,” but also woman, partner, professional, friend, and individual.

Here, you’ll find stories that remind you you’re not alone, strategies that make life a little lighter, and inspiration to keep going even on the tough days. My hope is that every time you visit, you feel encouraged, grounded, and reminded that you are enough—just as you are.

Momkind Collective isn’t just my story. It’s our story. And I’m so glad you’re here to be part of it.
